TAKE A WORD

WOMAN IN A FISH HAT

Marie has chosen HAT as our word for inspiration this week at Take a Word and that reminded me of the girl I saw at the beach recently.  She was wearing the most amazing hat I have seen in a long time and I was so busy perusing the hat that I almost forgot to call the coastguard for the person who was drowning and not waving!!

Thanks, Marie.

Credit to Finecrafted Design and to Beth Rimmer.    I also own up to filching the girl from Klimt, and the 'drowning not waving' from Stevie Smith and I believe Picasso painted the original woman in a fish hat!  :D

Thank you for looking.

It's an amazing hat indeed! It's great you could manage to ask for help for the drowning creature, but if you couldn't you always could the blame that peculiar hat!

That's what I call a HAT!! This is gorgeous, Ann. Love the Klimt image, the hat decorations (!) and the beautiful background. Most of all I love the pastel touch. Superb.
