VINTAGE BEAUTY
Marie, has asked for VINTAGE BEAUTY this week at Take a Word and at first I was a little stumped about who I might choose. Then I thought about Marilyn, who was definitely a beauty, but what about vintage ... can she be counted as vintage I wondered. I'd say yes, it is after all around 50 years since she sang : Happy Birthday, Mr President!!!
Credit to JoesSistah and PlayingWithBrushes for textures (much altered).
Thank you for looking and taking the time to comment.

Yes, anything over 50-years old is vintage--including me!
Love your Marilyn tribute. I agree with Anja about the brilliant colours. Great job, Ann.xx
I am vintage too!!!
She was a beauty!!!
I was a fan of her many different types of films. I think her acting was under rated.
OMG! This piece is FABULOUS, Ann!!! It truly does justice to Marilyn's personality and smoldering sexuality! Wow! Thanks soooo much for stopping by to say "hello"!!! HUGE Hugs! ♥ Terri
Wow An I adore your marvelous layers of color you have set Marilyn afire from within...it is delicious my dear.
Those scintillating colours are perfect for showing off Marilyn's sensual pout, stunning presentation, Ann!
(I wonder how many will notice the 'fallen' on my piece today, but I knew you would!!)

She is a stuningly beautiful subject and I adore what you have done with her. The lighting, the colours, the smokey background. First rate example of vintage beauty!
Absolutely gorgeous, Ann! The colouring is magnificent!
Somehow I missed this one. It's gorgeous! It would make a wonderful poster.
Those glistening highlights really bring the picture to life. Great job.
