ROSES ROUND THE DOOR

It's week 16 of Marie's Take a Word challenge and this week she has chosen ROMANCE as her word for our inspiration.  Now, like Marie, I'm a bit of a Bah Humbug when it comes to Valentines and Romance but then I remembered about Giovanni and Isabella, who like Romeo and Juliet were in love but due to  family feuds were not allowed to meet.  Just look at how they gaze into each other's eyes,  warms your heart doesn't it?  Anyway, unlike Romeo and Juliet, this pair of lovers were not so wishy washy and much more disobedient and instead of meeting a sad end, they met one night at midnight, escaped over the city walls, built a cottage in the forest with roses round the door and lived happily ever after.  Awwww!

Credits : well apart from a little help from Dover everything else is my own work.  Thank goodness for layers, blends and styles in Photoshop I say!

Thank you for looking.

This is just fantastic Ann...Oooo I just love a story with a happy ending...and her hair is to "dye" for...and the color you picked is scrumptious.
Love your new Mona too...I may just have to steal her "against my will of course".

It' a great story and I love what you did with it. Seems more soft and monochromatic than what you normally do. Very pretty...and romantic of course! xo

Bonjour Ann! voilà une très jolie histoire , moins dramatique que celle de Roméo et Juliette !
Très joli d'avoir choisi cette unité de tons doux pour ce challenge ! J'aime beaucoup ! Amicalement Mary.KG
