THREE MUSES CHALLENGE 56 - EYES

It's my turn to host the Three Muses challenge this week and I chose the theme of EYES.

I had planned to create a Zetti kind of piece, but it seems my Muse had other ideas and this ...... dare I say it ........... surreal piece ........... just kind of happened. Again! Will I never get surreal out of my system? Tee hee.

Credit to JoesSistah and Ruby Blossom for the backgrounds (much altered), whilst the other bits and pieces are courtesy of Honey Designs and Efie's blogspot.

THREE MUSES 54 - TAKE A SONG, ANY SONG

It's Marie's turn to host the Three Muses challenge this week and she has chosen the theme of TAKE A SONG, ANY SONG.

Now for a while I have been considering trying to illustrate the lyrics of the Beatles' song Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, and so Marie's theme gave me the perfect chance to have a go.

I think you can probably guess which bit of the song I have chosen but just in case not:

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Credit to the very talented ladies at the WaterLO Project, Efie and FAFT. Whilst the Beatles are courtesy of Google. Fonts are Thoughts and Too Damn Drunk.

Thanks Marie for a very inspiring theme and thank you all for looking.

THREE MUSES CHALLENGE 53 - TIME

It's my turn to host the Three Muses challenge this week and I have chosen TIME as my theme.

When I thought about how I might interpret this theme, I immediately saw in my quirky and deviant little mind an image of an exploding timepiece, so that is what I created. So here is SPRING TIME!

Credit to Irene Alexeeva, Efie, ArtyDecayStock whilst the numbers and springs are my own.
