Our word for inspiration at Take a Word this week is MAIL ART and that reminded me of what I saw from my bedroom window one evening last week.  Little girls, three of them, all with balloons having a very good time indeed.  Though I did wonder why they were out so late.  Bwahaha.

There's a call for WINDOWS or DOORS at the Three Muses this week and that reminded me of this strange scene I thought you might enjoy!

I will be away this week on yet another little trip.  Yes, I know ... lots and lots of holidays.  This time we're traveling up to south west Scotland for a few days and then across the country to visit a couple of ancient Northumbrian towns and castles before traveling home at the weekend hopefully with a camera full of photos.

TAKE A WORD

It's ORANGE AND BLACK at Take a Word this week, and that reminded me of what I saw from my window the other night.  As the sun began to sink to the horizon the sky turned to a vivid orange glow that put everything else into black relief and that's when I noticed the man and his daughter staring out to sea.  As I followed their gaze I saw the three dirigibles floating silently across the sky and a shiver went down my spine!
