TAKE A WORD
NOT QUITE WITCHING HOUR
We have PURPLE and GREEN as our theme at Take a Word this week, and that made me think of the trio of witches I saw from my bedroom window practicing for the upcoming Halloween bash!
Credit to Sharing Tubes for the moon, the witches are public domain and Big Ben is one of my own photos taken on a recent trip to London. The whole lot was thrown into my IPad and with a little help from free photo apps : Glaze, PixlrExpress+ and XnView Fx ... ta dah!

THE THREE MUSES
We have BY THE LIGHT OF THE MOON as our prompt at the Three Muses this week and that reminded me of something strange that happened a week last Thursday. It's true. I promise.
Credit to Paigesmom at Deviantart for the fairy child, FinecraftedDesign at Deviantscrap for the cow whilst the backgrounds (blended) are courtesy of NumbBumm.

TAKE A WORD
We have ORANGE as our word for inspiration this week at Take a Word and that made me think of the colours of Autumn and the inky blues of the lengthening nights as we move into Winter .. and then my Muse elbowed me in the ribs and took over!

DIGITALMANIA

THE THREE MUSES
DO NOT DRINK
Always read the label. That's my advice.
Credit to RubyBlossom for the blended backgrounds, NumbBumm for the kite, Holliewood Studio for the girl and Efie for the lady who obviously did not heed the label. The remainder is from my own stock.

TAKE A WORD
SOMETHING CREEPING THIS WAY COMES
We have CREEPY as our word for inspiration this week at Take A Word and that reminded me of the very strange lady I saw just yesterday. I noticed she had one blue and one brown eye, but that was the least of her distinguishing features, for she was sporting a crown of berries inhabited by a whole host of small creatures. CREEPY! I also noticed she was rather fond of the red wine too .. or at least I think that's what it was! I was just about to ask her if she would recommend the wine when whoosh, she had gone. Just like that! Whoosh! Mmmmmm.
Credit to TumblefishStudio for the lady herself, the creatures, foliage and background are all courtesy of the ladies of the Water LO Project, the intriguing blue eye is SharingTubes and the glass of red 'wine' and 'wine drips' are credited to Moonglowlilly at Deviantart. Thank you all.

THE THREE MUSES
BLACK UMBRELLAS
It's still raining in Perth, Western Australia .. I know because I checked online again this morning. They are having the wettest spring in ages and that's why our thoughts have turned this week to rain and umbrellas. When I thought about what art I might produce with umbrellas I was surprised to find they quite easily became part of this lady's wardrobe! Well, two of them did, but I wonder if you can find the third?

TAKE A WORD
SALUTE AUSTRALIA
This is so tongue in cheek I might never see it again (my tongue) .. and it's so cliched I'm almost but not quite embarrassed. It's my salute to Australia and to a certain person who keeps us out of trouble and off the streets by setting us a weekly theme at her Take a Word challenge.
Just the other day I was talking to Dame Edna and she told me that the colours in Oz are remarkable for their vibrancy and the sun almost always shines. There are kangeroos and little joeys everywhere and people swim and surf all the time, whilst keeping a weather eye out for the crocs, of course, and everyone says G'day and then they throw another prawn on the barbie. I was so inspired I set to work immediately and added a few extra special bits for Miss Ozstuff herself .. not least my 'Maude' postage stamp because I know how much she likes to make vintage art.
First and foremost credit to my daughter (as the body of Australia is made up from part of an 'aboriginal' painting she made one year for me for Mother's day), thanks to Honey Designs for the stamp template, and Efie from her blogspot freebies for most of the remainder. Thank you to Obsidian Dawn for the brushes.
Thank you for looking and taking the time to comment.

THREE MUSES
RULE OF THREE
Thank you, Bev, for reminding me of how many good friends we have all made in the land of Blog!
Here is my RULE OF THREE. They don't look very happy I agree but then having your photograph taken in those days was a whole different ball game. Flash. Bang. Wallop!
Thank you to Gayle Page-Robak for the 'three'. The remainder are courtesy of Marta Van Eck and Pink Lotty.
Thank you for looking.
