The theme this week is mother and child at Gothic Arches.
I was inspired by the Gustav Klimt picture Three Ages of Woman.
I extracted and duplicated the mother and child from Klimt's Three Ages of Woman and used an Overlay blend to brighten the image. I created the Arch background with brushes by Graphicxtras and Vanilla Dreams which I then duplicated and blended again to achieve a pleasing colour. I added the background which is courtesy of Booland Designs. Finally I added a Poster Edges filter to give definition to the lines of the mother and child.

This is so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. It is my favorite arch I'v ever seen anywhere. I admit that I'm a sucker for anything about motherhood and Klimpt is an artist whose work fascinates me. You have created a brilliant piece, Taluula.
