The theme this week is mother and child at Gothic Arches.I was inspired by the Gustav Klimt picture Three Ages of Woman.
I extracted and duplicated the mother and child from Klimt's Three Ages of Woman and used an Overlay blend to brighten the image. I created the Arch background with brushes by Graphicxtras and Vanilla Dreams which I then duplicated and blended again to achieve a pleasing colour. I added the background which is courtesy of Booland Designs. Finally I added a Poster Edges filter to give definition to the lines of the mother and child.
