It's my turn to host the Three Muses challenge this week and I have chosen the theme of Up, Up and Away.
As soon as I thought about this theme I realised for me it meant vintage bicycles travelling through the sky so here we go.

Three Muses Challenge 3 - Wild Things
Bev is the host for the Three Muses this week and she's chosen Wild Things as the theme.
Mabel looks and dresses as a lady, but oh dear me, she has such a wild streak, just look at the thoughts going on in her head as she poses for the photographer.

Two For Tuesday Challenge Two
June has a new challenge out called Two For Tuesday and this is week two.
The two images she gave were both black and white and I thought they should probably stay that way ....... well possibly with a dash of red. So here we go.

Sunday Postcard Art - Fathers
This is my Dad in 1926, so full of light and hope. I wonder what or who he was looking at as this photograph was taken?
I lost my Dad 11 years ago just as he was learning about computers. I wonder what he would have thought if he had known that just a few years later he would be the centre of attention and possibly being viewed across at least three contents on Father's Day?
I miss him lots.
Credit to Wil for the background from last week's Art Creation Friday, and KlarissaH for the frame (both much altered). The photos of Dad is my own.
Font is Journal Handwriting.

Three Muses Challenge 2 - Doors
I hope this year will be a better Summer in the UK than the previous two where it has rained. However, as nothing can be guaranteed I've taken the liberty of building a garden shed where sun, sea, sand and lots of fun can be taken for granted. This is my Doors creation.
Credit to Sailor and Lula for the beach elements and Kubivet for the bathing beauties. The garden shed was cyber surfed.

Three Mues - Mona Lisa
You can see this across at our new challenge blog the Three Muses . It might not surprise you to know that the theme for our first week is Mona Lisa.
This was the sample for inspiration this week, and I just wanted to give credit where credit is due so thank you to Irene Alexeeva for the background, frame, hat, cravat and money off voucher and to Liana at her Paperdoll blog for the wonderful outfit that Mona chose to wear. All other bits and pieces are my own.
Thank you so much to those who have joined in the challenge so far. The response has been overwhelmingly good.
Ozstuff, Indybev and Taluula (me) would love you all to come and join in the fun.
If you are too busy to join in this week's fun don't worry, Ozstuff will be hosting the next challenge and her theme will be Doors.
As always thanks for looking.

PSSST. THE SECRET'S OUT
There's a brand new blog, the Three Muses, where each Wednesday Taluula, Ozstuff or Indybev will be challenging you to create something inspired and interesting.
We know that each of you will have a preferred artistic medium so whether you like to work with paper or paint, fabric or digital we'd love you to join in. After all, part of the fun is to see the diverse interpretations on a theme. So come and join in the fun (a little early this first week) at the Three Muses
