FRIENDS

JUDY AND ANN CHAT OVER COFFEE

As I was in New Zealand and would be passing through Wellington, Judy and I arranged to meet for coffee.  As we recognised each other over the outdoor space at the Ta Papa Museum Judy's pace quickened and she came towards me with arms outstretched ready with a great big hug.

We had only ever met once before for about an hour and that was six years ago during my last visit, yet when we sat with our coffees it was as though we had been life long friends comfortable in each others' company.

When it was time for the obligatory photographs (oh how we both hate posing for photos) we agreed to be snapped with our backs to the camera as well facing it and would decide later which ones would hit the blogs.

We enjoyed a lovely couple of hours chatting until it was time to say goodbye.  'Till the next time!

BTW your red handbag is in your 'camper van!' So handy for crossing Cook Strait!

What fun that you two met, and what fun that you've shared the photos (albeit a bit altered) with the rest of us!

Well now, I never even thought to do it with my back to the camera. Thanks for the tip, Ann! (and the smile)
