TAKE A WORD - MABEL, A LADY THAT LUNCHED

This week at TAKE A WORD Marie has chosen ALBUM as our word for inspiration and that reminded that it has been quite a while since I last visited Mabel in our family album.

So, imagine my surprise when I found that Mabel has at last married well, and now is an Edwardian lady that lunches!

May I introduce you to Mabel as she was the last time I saw her.  Hasn't she done well?

Credit to Finecrafted Designs the the foxes and furs and to Obsidian Dawn for the fonts : Sketchy times, American typewriter and Three Dimensional rightside and  round.  And, of course, Mabel is one of the family.

Thank you for looking.

Yes, Mabel has done your family proud. (I hope she shared her new-found wealth). I love this one, Ann. It's amazing what you have done with Mabel from the original photo. Great stuff.

For a plain looker, Mabel's done all right for herself! Love what you did with her! She is so elegant!

Wonderfully transformed, very amusing, Ann, another for the 'classic' file or should it be album!

Oh la! Doesn't Mabel look elegant? I'm wondering if she ever met Marie's Uncle Paul. The two of them seem as if they'd go together quite well! I love the Eduardian background and the contrast of black and white and color, Ann. This is really a very enchanting piece! Bravo
