Marie is our host this week at the Three Muses and she has asked that we use an ARTIST OF CHOICE as our theme.
Have you ever wondered what actually happened to Venus after Botticelli allowed her to emerge from the sea? Mmmmmmmm!
Thanks Marie, for another great theme.

Thanks for looking.

I can't imagine Venus after her bath.. But Your Venus is a very sexy and attractive person I wonder what the blond hair girl is thinking about...
a great art work Ann I love it.
A beautiful modern Venus looking so chic and a bit nonchalant. Love the expression to this creative work of art Ann!
What a fun piece. Love your new look Venus, she's very stylish!
Beautiful!
You made a modern and chic lady of botticellis venus, and she looks great
Venus in the art deco era? She fits in very well. A list people in those days had to be "languid" and seemingly disinterested and Venus plus friends fit that bill very well. At least they don't have cigarettes hanging out of their mouths which was another fashionable look at the time.
Ann, your artpiece is fabulous. I love it.
Wow Ann what an amazing transformation...a fantastic job!
I hope all is well with you and your family...warm wishes to you.
Who knew that Venus could transform herself into a Deco Goddess??? LOL!!! This is, indeed, amazing and wonderfully fun! Hugs, Terri xoxo
Great work Ann !
And a fascinating thought !!
To me it seems like the blonde lady should buzz off :)
Well good heavens! Who'd have thought? Thank you for solving the puzzle for us, Ann! This is wonderfully humorous!
Now I know, Ann, she was a party girl at heart! Love your whimsy here!
What a fun image-Glad to see she got some great clothes! xo
Brilliant, just brilliant! I love your imagination and this is a great new Look for Venus, Mind you Botticelli is probably rolling over! LOL! xx
Beautiful, Ann! LOL love the way your mind works.
I had a sneaking suspicion that Venus wasn't as innocent as Botticelli made her appear. She looks quite the socialite. Love your art.

GORGEOUS how you integrated the venus!!! love it!!!
I wonder if Botticelli would recognise her in this setting! A fabulous transformation, Ann.
We all know, Ann, that she is definately alive and well in the 20's!! Love this work...so clean and composed.

Looks like she became the 'other woman'. What a wonderfully creative piece Ann - so clever!
Wonderful Ann,love the simplicity of this!!
That's a very romantic piece.
Oh, I think Boticelli would be pretty amused by your irreverence, Ann. Venus looks so blasè :)
Oooh how cool is this..........Love it.
Very fashionable indeed! Great work!
