TAKE A WORD

LOCKS AND KEYS

Marie asked for LOCKS AND KEYS this week at Take a Word.  Ta Dah!

Credit to HolliewoodStudio for the rose, the lock and the piano (much altered) were in the public domain whilst the textures were a blend of several of my own.

Thank you for looking.

  4. These old 'keys' are amazing. Bet they played many a great tune in their day. Every time I see piano keys I remember my older son playing "Stairway to Heaven". Fond memories....thanks for bringing them back.

  5. I have a 120 year old piano in my house. I used to play it and then my children and their children bashed about on it. It's in quite good condition but it looks as lonely and dejected as your beautiful, grungy artpiece. I love the richness of the colours and the gorgeous vintage feel.

  6. That precious rose laying across those weathered keys, what a story could be told. Wonderful, beautifully done!
