We have BIRDS as our word for inspiration at Take a Word this week and that reminded me I have an appointment at the hairdressers on Tuesday ... thank goodness!
This takes me back to schooldays. My school was next to the Catholic cathedral in Perth and we often saw an eccentric lady there. Her hair looked as if it had never been cut or washed or brushed and it reached down to her waist in what could only be described as a bird's nest. We called her "the bird's nest lady". Thanks for the memories and also for this beautifully creative piece of art.
Lovely work Ms Ann!
ReplyDeleteBetter than 'egg on the face,' Ann, cool humorous take on birds, one of your best! (make sure your mascara doesn't run at the hairdressers!!!) LOL
ReplyDeleteHmm.... may be I won't want this kind of hair style;) Great piece, Ann!

ReplyDeleteNope. That one showed. Weird. I wrote before, better a nest in the hair than a bird in the brain.
