THE THREE MUSES

We have STILL LIFE as our theme for the Three Muses this week, so here's mine, a dish of chocolates and a rosy red apple sitting either side of an empty wine bottle with a few poppies plonked in its top.

Should I choose a scrumptious chocolate, I asked myself, or would it be the apple ... well the chocolate, of course, the apple had already been taken!

  4. I could eat all those choccies unassisted but I think I'll leave the apple with that fly crawling on it. A still life collage with a sense of humour and a very elegant touch. Love it.

  12. I think the objects broke out of their frames, and the fly is trying to decide what is real?!

  14. Oh, LOL! I hadn't seen yours before I put a wasp on MY apple. Assuming the fly hasn't been on the chocolates, I'll have one of those, please. Beautiful work!
