TAKE A WORD

LIGHTER THAN AIR

We have BALLOON as our word for inspiration at TAKE A WORD this week and that put me in mind of a very queer dream I had a week last Thursday.  There, right in front of my eyes was a lady in a green dress and she was floating quite high above the street ... and stationery.  I know this would normally be a remarkable occurrence but as it was a dream I wasn't surprised at all even when I saw she was tethered to a key and the key was in its own keyhole in the ground.  I was just about to ask her what secrets the key would unlock when the alarm clock went off and I realised it was morning.

My advice is don't eat cheese for supper!

Credit to Itkupilli for the green lady, whilst the remainder is courtesy of HolliewoodStudio.

Thank you for looking.

  2. Oh must be something about cheese alright. My hubby dreams but he talks out loud. And yes he loves cheese at night before bed. I do also but I can never remember my dreams eating cheese. So it only happens to the best of people right. Ha-ha

I like your piece. Love the key as the achor in its own key hole. How about that.

I have had two dreams in my life flying. And it was awsome.

I think this is so creative over a dream. Great job!

My work is at my blog.

  3. Where DO these ideas come from, Ann? You must eat cheese for supper ALL the time, because you always come up with deliciously surreal art!! This is superb.

  4. I agree with Bev. Keep eating the late night cheesy snacks if they are going to take you to such interesting places unknown. Fabulous.
