AND THEN THERE WAS NONE
We have ALTERED ART as our theme this week at the Muses and that got
me thinking about 'that' apple. Having to wage a constant battle
against slugs and snails feasting on my garden veggies then wouldn't you think Magritte might have a similar battle defending 'that' apple!
Credit
to Marta Van Eck for the caterpillar, and RubyBlossom for the apple and
background. I borrowed the 'man' from Magritte and the bird was
Googled.
Thank you for looking.
I love Magritte and I love your art! Both together is a feast for my eyes!
ReplyDeleteGreat imagination and insight.
ReplyDeleteAnd oh the stories it brings to mind...
Gorgeously surreal, Ann, and beautifully made, as ever.
ReplyDeleteSo amusing and beautiful collage. Great idea, too!
ReplyDeleteFAB-U-LOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I lost my first comment. We'll try again. Those poor birds just aren't going to get a bite of an apple. But there's a worm on it this time anyway. Oh. Maybe they'd like that worm!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes wonder what some men have on their mind. Now I know! You do surreal SO well, my dear!
ReplyDeleteI Love the way you have made three images from one set of pictures. Thanks for you great comment! I teach sewing, shame you are so far away :-)
