TAKE A WORD - REGAL

This week at Take a Word our word for inspiration is REGAL and that reminded me of HRH Queen Elizabeth II who, here in the UK, is our one and only right regal queenie.  (I'm forced to mention her Regalness, since it would be high treason not to and probably punishable by a stint in the Tower, or worse still, a valid reason to lose my head.)

Credit to Playing with Brushes for the background, Obsidian Dawn for the font whilst the remainder was either Googled or in the public domain.

Thank you for looking.

  1. Oh this is just super fantastic Ann. A great collage and a lovely commemoration. we are lucky to have her, she has always put duty first.
I don't know if you can remember that far back but they brought out a song for her Coronation...'In a Golden Coach'.
We had a concert in the village to celebrate and I sang it on stage!
    Happy memories! xx

  2. Never noticed before but the Queen's smile reminds me of Mae West's smile! This is a jaunty look at her regalness.

  6. Oh, no! We wouldn't want you in the Tower, although they might have an Internet connection there so you can still contribute your wonderful art pieces to these challenges.
