Our word for inspiration this week at Take A Word is WINGS and that reminded me of the time I visited our Gallery of Modern Art. Some people love modern art whilst others just don't 'get it', but whatever your view perhaps you would agree it often plays with your perceptions. I hope this leaves you with a little smile! ;D
Thank you for yet another fun word, Marie.

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Had to re-focus my eyes after looking at your 'glass' piece, Ann, so glad they came right as wouln't have wanted to miss your surreal & whimsical piece of brilliance!
ReplyDeleteWell, Ann, it certainly gave me a giggle, especially when I saw the toilet. What a lively and wonderful imagination you have. Oh, and I love the quote.

This is just wonderful (I love the toilet roll)! It must have taken so long to create, but it was definitely worth it, Ann. Such beauty and such humour!
ReplyDeleteFabulous use of imagery (love that kit) stark and elegant work Ann!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me smile! I love the grayscale color scheme!
ReplyDeleteHow appropros that Mona appears just beside this winking at us. The monochromatic color scheme is very effective.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great all-white taluulesque piece! Until now I've counted at least 11 smiles! :)
ReplyDeleteA fantastic piece! I had to smile when I saw the toilet paper. Very amusing and SO MUCH FUN!

Hey Ann, I was hoping for an insight from you into this picture. It is intriguing and beautifully executed but I would love to know the true story. Is the Gramophone man too polite to visit the smallest room in the houses while the angel is standing guard? Is the angel afraid that he will waste precious water by flushing and is keeping him away? Was the Gramophone man caught in the act of stealing a roll of toilet paper? There are so many questions - and so few answers. Grest work.
