THREE MUSES 98 - KEYS

Bev has chosen KEYS as our theme for this week at the Three Muses and that reminded me of the three ladies I often see gathered together in our local park and who spend many hours over a game not unlike chess .... quiet yet focused and I wonder what prize the ladies play for!

Great theme Bev.

Credit to Deviant Scrap for the background, Irene Alexeeva for the chess pieces and the key, whilst the immaculately dressed ladies are courtesy of Tangie Baxter.

Thank you for looking.

  1. Hi There,

Looks like your ladies are all keyed up! I had to take a closer look at these gals who play games. Is the gal in the white dress not so sure of her move and that's why she's keyed?:)
    Love your entry.

  2. Ann, I love your fashionable ladies and their chess game. Perhaps it is automated. They DO look far too languid to move the pieces. Why not wind up the pieces and let them move randomly? A very creative and unusual piece. Great work.

  3. Ann, you are the Goddess of Surreal! Hmmmm . . . these ladies are so stylish, I wonder if they're playing for a chance to raid each other's closets!!! LOL! Hugs, Terri xoxo

  7. Wow, this is interesting! Love the ladies walking on the game board. The key in the ladies back reminds me of that book, The Windup Girl. I haven't read it but the name intrigues me.

  10. They are so chic, probably they prize for a Lauboutin shoe or a Hermès bag! It's a shame I don't have the proper bank account for playing this game too. Wonderful, Ann.
