THREE MUSES 65 - ZETTI
It is my turn to host the Three Muses challenge this week and I have chosen THE WORLD OF ZETTI.
Meet Venus a self made woman, a celebrity in her own right and a lady who knows her own mind. She likes the boots but if you ask me I think she's sulking about the hair!
Venus is mostly my own work, though I did have a little help from Botticelli and a little more from Terri Kahrs who provided the background. Thanks Terri.

LOOK WHAT THE POSTMAN BROUGHT
Last week my Postman popped both of these wonderful decorated mail art envelopes through my letterbox and both little beauties on the same day too!!!
I inspected them, felt them, shook them, turned them this way and that but I didn't open them because each was so unique and gorgeous and I couldn't bring myself to spoil them.
Can you believe I didn't open them until the following day and when I did all kinds of wonderful goodies were tucked away inside.
Bev, Marie and myself decided we should have a little mail art swap and this was our very first attempt and so without further ado may I present the wonderful gifts I received. You can tell who sent which by the postmark but just in case you can't make them out Bev's envelope is the one above whilst Marie's is the one below.
Enlarge them, they are gorgeous.
Thank you so much to Bev and Marie.

THREE MUSES 64 - WHEELS
Bev has chosen wheels this week as her theme at the Three Muses and this is my interpretation.
I used one of my own photographs of the New Year celebrations of the firework display on the London Eye together with a Botticelli Angel (copyright free) and a wheel from a boat and then played with layers and blend modes until I had created wheels within wheels.
Thanks Bev for challenging me to think outside the box!!!
Thank you for looking.

Whimsical Clock was the theme for our August ATC swap and this was my interpretation. I had great fun making it and was pleased I managed to make the hair for my little lady in ArtRage which I am trying (very slowly) to teach myself.
Most of what I used for this were magazine clippings with one or two bits appropriated via the net.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look.

THREE MUSES 62 - LOVE IS BLIND
Mabel's choice in men was sometimes a tad suspect so when she introduced me to Mr Gater I admit to feeling a teeny tiny twinge of apprehension and I hoped we would never have to utter those words : Love Is Blind!
Yes, it's my turn to host the Three Muses challenge this week and as you can see my theme is LOVE IS BLIND.
Credit to Dover Samples, Efie's Blogspot and Ruby Blossom, whilst Mabel, is of course, part of the family. The fonts used are Humbug Icing and Cookie, and Hootie.

MERMAID
It was Jayne's (aka PeppaPig) turn to choose a theme for our July ATC swap and she chose Mermaid. This one is my swap to her.
Credit to Efie at her blogspot for the mermaid (that started life as a ballet dancer), also the bubbles, the eye and the hat. The background and the mermaid's tail were created by me in ArtRage and the whole thing was put together in Photoshop.
