Three Muses Challenge 21 - Long Ago and Far Away

It's my turn to host the Three Muses Challenge this week and I have chosen Long Ago and Far Away.

Thinking of LONG AGO AND FAR AWAY I was reminded of Mabel's childhood. Her father Eustace, a very 'colourful' character went to great lengths to merge into the crowd for several hours of drinking and gambling, but Mabel's mother Gertie, a very determined lady, would grab that old shotgun, and with Daisy, Doris and Mabel in tow would search out the old rascal and show him the way home. Ah such fond memories of Sunday afternoon family entertainment.

Credit to Tammara at Pixel Music and Nicole Young for the elements used, and of course, Mabel is part of the family.

Thanks for looking.

  1. I can barely type this comment because I can't stop chuckling! Ann, your recent holiday has brought you back to us, more outrageous than ever, more entertaining, more wickedly funny. No wonder Mabel grew up to be an independent woman.
    Fantastic.
