Our word for inspiration at Take a Word this week is STEAMPUNK and that reminded me of this suspicious pair I saw from my window (a week last Tuesday).  There they were, loitering and staring in at my window.  In the end I took the pitchfork from the strange looking chap and gave him a key instead.  I thought that by the time he found the keyhole (in Pandora's box) I would have had the time to get some help from the 'boys in blue'.

Our theme this week at the Three Muses is MONOCHROME and that reminded me of the little village in Germany with incredible architecture we visited a couple of years ago.  This particular little street was quite worn and shabby and incredibly monochrome grey, but there was a bicycle outside one of the houses with red geraniums in its basket.  The only dab of colour in the whole street.
