TAKE A WORD

SUMMER RAIN

This week we are invited to create something using the colour ORANGE for Take a Word and, as a complete departure from my usual style, here is something I created using photo filters, layers and blends on my IPad.

Credit : the original photo is my own ...  a view over Whitby harbour with lobster pots in the foreground and the Abbey on the hill.

Thank you for looking.

So beautiful and such realistic rain on my screen, I'll have to give it a wipe.

An unique and exquisite art work. Love the blurred picture very much! And even though I can't see no more rain. Here the torrential rain causes the rivers to swell and burst their banks, streets are filled with water too, it's a terrible beginning of summer.

This is a fantastic piece Ann, love the way you see the city through a window with rain outside and an orange glow over the houses.

I am so impressed with your iPad piece! Wow! I love the shades of orange and the feeling of looking through a window with the rain beating down. Whitby never looked so good!
