THE THREE MUSES

With tuppence for paper and strings, You can have your own set of wings, With your feet on the ground, You're a bird in flight, With your fist holding tight, To the string of your kite.

Let's go fly a kite .....

Thanks to Bev for the theme.

Awwwww, the fate of many a kite! I love the grunginess of this one and those aged edges. Beautifully done, Miss Ann!

Oh no! Those darn trees. Maybe she's sitting on a magic mushroom and everything will turn out alright in the end. :o)

This is a bit eerie with the bad looking kite and the frightening forest. Little girl, get out of there, fast.

I've been singing that song all week! What a very deep piece, the others have said it already, stunning background, somewhat threatening with the kite tangled but the little girl looks serene and sweet.
You really have a way of telling a story with pictures. Brilliant

That is a beautiful piece! Poor kite! It makes me think of Charlie Brown and his kite-eating tree.

I love this. It has a wonderful eerie quality and the little girl is completely unaware.
