THREE MUSES

This week we have WORD ART as our theme at the Three Muses and that, for some reason, had me stumped for a while, until my Muse, who knows me best,  reminded me of this little poem by Jenny Joseph.  And she is right of course, I do aspire to one day wearing that red hat!

Credit to Hidden Vintage, Holliewood Studio, Irene Alexeeva and Obsidian Dawn.

Thank you for looking.

Oh Ann, this is splendid! Love what you did with this great poem! It is a good reminder--especially now that I am definitely in the wearing purple stage of life!

Great applause from me dear Ann! I've been wearing purple now and again, I play havoc with my crutches but I don't yet spit! I love that poem and your collage is just super perfection! xx

Great illustration of a great poem! Thanks for reminding me of how little other people's opinions matter to me these days...

I'm SO glad you were inspired to share this. The way you changed fonts and directions is very creative, and features the piece (which happens to be a favorite of mine) well. Thanks for sharing with us! I'm going out now to drag my cane along the fence. So there!! lol

I think you have succeeded in moving a lot of old bloggers to dare to be different if not daring! I love the mixture of fonts and can only marvel at the amount of work you have put into this fantastic, creative piece. I have a reputation (according to my daughters) of being too conservative and I have resolved that one day before I drop off this mortal coil I will shock them by turning up with pink spiky hair and an outrageous outfit.
I love this piece, Ann.

What a beautiful text Ann!
I've enjoyed all the work you've done with it!
( and I'll never wear purple, it doesn't fit me at all... but I'm used to put a red hat on my head; I've got three of them...)

Is that sweetie you? Love this, didn't know the poem, so thanks for introducing it to me.
I always thought that old age, despite the hassles, such as health problems, had a certain freedom, which I intend to enjoy for sure! In fact, I think I'll start training right now!

i only knew the beginning phrase so far, but the rest is promising much fun, too!
