TAKE A WORD 21 - ARCHITECTURE

It is week 21 at Take a Word and Marie has chosen ARCHITECTURE as our word for inspiration this week.  That got me thinking about the little wooden house at the end of my road where the meteorologist lady lives.   I often see her with her hand stuck out of the window and think what an ingenious way that is to forecast rain.

Credit goes to the designers at Deviant Scraps for their freebie - Colour Splash - available via Somerset Digital Studio magazine.

Thank you for looking.

Ahem, from what you have told me about your weather, a toddler could come up with a forecast of rain! I love this flight of fancy. Yes, it rains cats and dogs but, in real life, it seems fish have rained down from the sky after destructive storms.
A wonderful, surreal romp.

Ann, could you explain me what does "odd" mean for the 3 muses theme this week? i'm not sure to really understand.

Laughing so hard here at the comment about your meteorologist hanging her hand outside the window. I am sure that is what most of them in that field do to get the data we received around here anyway. Somebody said it was spring today and we are still getting snow daily! Bummer! Love your artwork, so excellent as always.

Ah, Miss Ann, in the evening, when the sun goes down, I think your reality dips into surreality, and we're all the lucky beneficiaries of your flights of fancy. This is marvelous!

What a cool story Ann...it gives me hilarious visions. The lady in your picture reminds me of somthing from Alice in Wonderland. Once again I think your channeling Salvador...beautiful work!!

Another one of Ann's fishy stories, me-thinks! That reminds me it's fish for tea tonight!! Back to the matter in hand (not a fish!) - love your dazzling masterpiece!

Oh, I just love it! It's funny, the kind of things that can inspire us. I noticed that your archtecture contains fish and your fish theme below contains architecture. You could have a series going, there! :)

I know there are birdhouses, but is this a fish house - no, there's a lady inside it? And where is this situated if the Earth is so far away? Ann, I love your surreal and mysterious scene - you have created a new world!

The way your mind works is really amazing, Ann! I laughed at your remark about your weather-lady neighbor. And I also laughed at your sad looking fish. What a work of art!
